Boudoir is intimate by nature — and intimacy needs trust. At Margot Marie's Sydney studio, every boudoir shoot is built around your comfort first and the camera second. Female-led, judgement-free, and entirely on your terms.
Boudoir photography, the way it should feel
Most women come to a boudoir shoot a little nervous. That's normal — and we plan for it. Our Sydney studio is private, calm, and warm. There is no audience, no pressure, no awkward poses you didn't ask for. You'll be guided by a woman who has done this hundreds of times, with a brief shaped by your own words during a planning call before the shoot day.
What you wear, how much you reveal, what kind of mood you want — all of those choices are yours. We bring the wardrobe, the lighting, the music, and the experience. You bring whoever you want to be on the day, including no-one at all if that's what feels right.
What's included in a Sydney boudoir session
- 30-minute pre-shoot planning call with a woman from our team
- Private studio booking — you and our crew, nobody else
- Professional hair and makeup if you want it
- Curated wardrobe options or your own pieces
- 2 to 3 hours of unhurried shooting, with breaks whenever you need them
- A private password-protected gallery to choose your favourites
- Hand-retouched final images delivered as high-resolution downloads
Who books a boudoir session
Our clients are women in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties and beyond. Some are celebrating a milestone — a wedding, a divorce, a body that just carried a child, a body they have worked hard to feel at home in. Some are giving the images to a partner. Most are giving them to themselves, and discover after the shoot that the gift was the experience.
You do not need modelling experience. You do not need to look a particular way. You do not need a "reason" beyond wanting to. If you are over eighteen, comfortable being photographed, and ready to spend a few hours being looked after by a careful, professional team — boudoir might be exactly the right session for you.
Privacy & consent
Your images are yours. We never share, post, or use any photo without your written permission, and we offer a no-publication option if you would prefer your shoot stay completely private. You can read more about how we handle your information in our Privacy Policy.
