Who's on set
Every Margot Marie shoot is staffed entirely by women. That includes the photographer, the hair and makeup artist, and the producer who runs the day. If you'd like a partner, a friend, or a chaperone with you, they are welcome — just tell us during the planning call so we can prepare.
Consent, every step of the way
- Before the shoot, we agree on what you want to capture and what is off the table. Nothing happens outside that agreement.
- On the day, every pose, every wardrobe change, every adjustment is offered as a suggestion. You always have the final say.
- You can pause the shoot at any time, for any reason, with no explanation needed. We'll stop, take a break, and only continue when you're ready.
How your images are handled
- All photos and video files are stored on encrypted, access-controlled drives.
- Your gallery is shared through a private, password-protected link. Only people you give the link to can see it.
- You select the final images. We never retouch or release anything you haven't approved.
- Raw files are deleted 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them.
Sharing — your call, always
Margot Marie does not share your images publicly without your explicit, signed permission. You may choose one of three release options when you book:
- No-publication — your images stay completely private. Yours alone.
- Selective release — you approve specific images for our portfolio, and we never use anything else.
- Full release — you grant us permission to use any of your final images in our portfolio, website, or social media.
You can change your release option at any time, retroactively. If you've already approved an image for our portfolio and you change your mind, tell us — it comes down.
What you'll never see from us
- Pressure to do more, show more, or change your mind on the day.
- Sales calls, upsells, or follow-up marketing after delivery unless you opt in.
- Your images shared with anyone — including other Margot Marie clients — without written consent.
- Any contact from us 30 days after your gallery is delivered, unless you reach out first.
If something doesn't feel right
Tell us. Mid-shoot, post-shoot, or anytime after. We will make it right, refund the session if appropriate, and use what we learn to keep getting better. Margot Marie is built on trust, and we treat any breach of that trust as the most serious thing we deal with.
